A Flydubai aircraft traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv had diverted to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Airport in Tabuk after sending emergency signals following an incident that occurred inside the cockpit, before landing safely. Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israeli authorities sought Saudi approval for a chartered Israeli aircraft to land in Tabuk to transport passengers who had refused to continue the journey aboard the Flydubai aircraft, but Saudi Arabia refused to allow any Israeli aircraft to land on its territory and transport the Israelis.
